3. Clear your Spotify app cache. It's possible that the app itself is intended to prevent you from playing music on your Google Home. You can tap Clear Cache in Settings to delete temporary files stored on your device.
4. Reset Google Home. You can reset Google Home to remove all device links, app links, and other settings you've made since you first installed it.
5. Check your account link on other devices. If your Spotify account is connected to another smart device for streaming, music will stop playing on Google Home.
6. Make sure your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Google device. If not, you cannot link Spotify to Google Home to play music.
